We are seeking a self-motivated & energetic individual with a thorough knowledge and background in the aerospace machining trade. The individual sought must be able to consult with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to discuss, formulate, and estimate pricing on various aerospace work and resolve issues before the estimate becomes a working purchase order. This person must also be able to analyze drawing specifications, complete material take-offs and generate proposals and other documents to prepare time and material cost estimates for projects. Knowledge of various shop processing methods & times is a MUST. Also, must have excellent organizational & time management skills, good math, and computer skills. Strong interpersonal skills are essential both verbal & written. This is a "TAKE CHARGE" job!
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS DESIRED:
- 3-5 YEARS EXPERIENCE ON THE SHOP FLOOR - in lieu of this.....
- .... 3-5 YEARS EXPERIENCE AS A WORKING PROCESS ENGINEER
- EXPERIENCE WITH AUTOCAD OR OTHER CAD SOFTWARE A PLUS
- STRONG VERBAL & WRITTEN COMMUNICATION SKILLS
- BASIC KNOWLEDGE OF AND ABILITY TO USE ALGEBRA & TRIG (add/subtract/multiply/divide)
- ABILITY TO READ-UNDERSTAND DRAWINGS (B/P'S) AND PART GEOMETRY

We are looking for an individual to compliment our engineering staff. This individual should already have a three (3) year resume in Auto CAD, Smart Cam and/or Master Cam. The ability to process and layout complicated designs is a UNIQUE quality that we need in our Repair Station. Maintenance requires a person who is skilled in machine maintenance, pneumatics, hydraulics, and following manufacturer's instructions along with trouble-shooting. Applicants should be proficient in all aspects of manual turning to include setup, operation, and maintaining close tolerances. A successful candidate will be able to show proficient operation of a Hardinge Tool Room lathe and Engine lathe combinations. Work processing will include set-up and operation. Some close tolerance aerospace work. Minimum 3 years experience is preferred.
